Tango

In cooperation with tango school Tango Urquiza IPC offers a summer course that gives you a chance to immerse in tango without the usual distranctions of everyday life. The daily routine will start with a morning gathering where we will share songs, news of the day, practical announcements and a theme of the day. This is followed by a warm-up and basic technique. The rest of the day there will be tango teaching and several activities putting tango dancing into a general perspective (lectures, films, songs, etc.). We'll wrap the day up with late summer night practica.

The International People's College is beautifully located only about 10 minutes from the historical center of Helsingør. The school has its own small park and our practice hall overlooks a large meadow and a lake.

There are single and double rooms available. The multiethnic kitchen staff will prepare three delicious meals per day. Bring a bicycle or borrow one from the school - downtown, forrest and beach all lie within cycling distance.

The maximum number of participants is set to 22 couples. It is therefore advisable to register as soon as possible. The level of teaching will be intermediate and higher. If you are a beginner you can also apply but we'll only run a beginners' class if there are at least six couples interested.
Dancers apply as a couple but we can help you to find a dance partner. Please apply before July 4th.

Download and fill in the application form and send it either printed out or as an email attachment . Both you AND your dance partner need to send an application. You will receive a confirmation from the school together with payment instructions shortly afterwards.
