Long Course Application Procedure:

There are five (5) steps that ALL applicants have to fulfill in order for their application to be considered. After completing Step 5, allow several weeks for post delivery, for the application committee to evaluate your application and for the administration to get back to you.

Please download a visual guide describing all steps depending on your country of origin. Danish and Nordic applicants should follow steps 1-6 as described in either of the documents. EEA and Swiss applicants should follow instructions for EU applicants.

Step 1: Write a 200-300 word essay specifying your reasons for applying to this particular school and describing your expectations for your stay here. Please also tell us about your plans for future education and occupation and your hobbies and interests in general. Please answer the following three questions in partidular:
  • How and why did you choose IPC and what aspect of the IPC experience are you particularly looking forward to?
  • What are your interests, personality, goals and dreams?
  • How do you want to use your IPC experience in the future?
Save this essay in a text editor (Ex: Microsoft Word), and have it ready for Step 2.

Step 2: Fill out the Online Application Form. It takes only 10-15 minutes. Under Essay, you will need to paste the essay you wrote in Step 1.

Step 3: Read carefully and accept the General Terms and Conditions by ticking the appropriate box. Then submit the online application.

Step 4: Print out the Application and the Letter of Attorney as instructed in the pop-up window that is going to appear at the end of the online application procedure (the same links are going to be sent to your email address as well).

Step 5: Sign the printed application and letter of attorney and send them by post together with two passport photographs. Remember to send your application well in advance. The visa process can easily take five or more months depending on your country of origin.

Enrollment:

If/when you get accepted to study at IPC you have a few more steps to go through in order to enroll as a student.

Step 6: If you get accepted to study at IPC, you will receive an Acceptance Letter. If NOT accepted, you'll receive an email. You will be asked to pay the full school fee.

Step 7: When we receive the payment, we will issue an Enrollment Letter together with instructions on how to proceed in order to start studying at IPC during your chosen term.

The next steps vary depending on your country of origin, which determines whether and how you need to apply for a Student Residence Permit.
Danish and Nordic applicants do not need to take any further steps.
EU and non-EU applicants should refer to the detailed visual guides.
