As a part of International People’s College’s strategy to promote global citizenship, underlined by the school’s strategy for 2012-2017, we strongly encourage students from countries with transitional democracies to submit applications to the school. To further underline this ambition we grant students from the so-called “12 new EU member states” significant economical support through a substantial reduction in the tuition fee. It is our wish to so by aid these countries towards well functioning democracies.
You are eligible for the EU Grant Scheme if you are a citizen with a permanent residence permit in one of the following EU member states: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia or Serbia.
Furthermore the following conditions apply for the grant:
- The applicant must register for and complete a course of a MINIMUM of 12 weeks (for Spring Terms) and a MINIMUM of 18 weeks (for Autumn Terms). If the student leaves earlier, the grant will be cancelled and all costs, the full tuition fee, are to be paid by the student.
- The students have to be at least 17½ years old at the time of admission.
- A fair command of the English language is a precondition for acceptance.
Applicants should follow the regular IPC application procedure and indicate that they are applying for the EU Grant Scheme.
