Born and raised in the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia at the time of my birth, actually), I have found my way from my country, with a stopover in Austria, to Denmark.
I have a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature as well as a Master’s Degree in German Language and Literature. Apart from my studies in the Czech Republic I have spent some time studying at the University of Education in Salzburg, Austria, and working in the city of Salzburg.
After getting the first real teaching experiences in the Czech Republic I left for Denmark to work as an assistant teacher at a state elementary school in a small town near Helsingør. This gave me the chance to get to know IPC and showed me the ways I would like to go in my life.
I like being a teacher because I like people. Teaching gives me a chance to interact with, to get close to, and to understand people. It also gives me a chance to affect people, to make them think about what I think is worth thinking about, and to help them find their own ways in the world.
In my spare time I like doing sports (especially football), reading books (I am a rather slow reader but I enjoy it), watching movies and sports, and doing anything with people I like.
